iX magazine gains in importance for IT-professionals
Increasing numbers of readers and advertisements

Hannover (Germany), 30 November 1999 - The professional IT magazine iX continues to show a positive development, as is reflected in the current IVW data and the successful advertising business.

According to IVW III/99, the magazine increased its circulation of 56,393 sold copies by a respectable 47.3 per cent in comparison with the previous year. In the same period the number of subscriptions rose by 18.6 per cent to 29,371 copies. The proportion of subscribers, at more than 50 per cent of the number of copies sold, is evidence of exceptionally strong reader loyality in the target group of IT professionals.

iX continues to position itself successfully in the highly competitive IT market segment. "Despite the strong competition in the field of IT publications, revenue from advertisements increased by 15 percent in this year. Due to the high acceptance among the target group of IT professionals our advertising customers are particularly benefiting from our recent success", states iX advertising manager Michael Hanke, with pleasure.

iX is one of the magazines that IT professionals simply have to read. The carefully selected assortment of basic articles, background reports and tests, which are not influenced by the industry, as well as presentations of recent products provide vital information for successful IT application throughout the whole company.
